AU Professor leaves Students Skeptic With Another Magic Trick

An American University Professor leaves his students puzzled with yet another magic trick. The former magician known as the Sort of Amazing Barry, performed a suspenseful balloon-popping trick for his students. The class is still trying to uncover exactly how he did it.

Comm 200’s Chloe DeChellis Reports.

Professor Barry Gordemer stuck a needle in a balloon and it didn’t pop.  Students of the professor theorized ideas of how he pulled it off. Student Rebecca Berger shared her theory.

Gordemer learned this trick from the owner of a popular magic store, Al Cohen. Before even starting the trick, Gordemer talked to his students about how magic compared to the inflated expectations in life.

Gordemer thought he had exceeded his students expectations with the trick, but to some students it was more of a letdown. This is what student Kirsten Kohlr had to say about the trick.

Even though students were skeptic of the trick, the majority of the class was entertained. The secret behind the trick, we may never know.
