American University professor performed a magic trick for
his students. He said magic is a metaphor for life.

Professor Gordemer, also known as the Sort-of-Amazing-Barry,
compared expectations in life to a balloon in a magic trick.
He said everyone has hopes and dreams.
But sometimes, someone comes along who wants to pop your
balloon.
One of his students, Chloe DeChellis, blew up a balloon for
him.
Gordemer dragged out the anticipation of poking a needle
through the balloon.
DeChellis said:

But the needle went right through without popping the balloon.
Gordemer has performed at the White House, Fox Television,
and birthday parties.
He said no matter whom
his audience is, he likes to end his shows with this trick.
