Professor Entertains Students with Magic Trick During Class

Learning is a breeze when your teacher is also a talented magician. Barry Gordemer, previously known as the “Sort of Amazing Barry” wowed the students in his writing for communication class with one of his favorite magic tricks.  A trick he claims has a "a little bit of danger and terror."

Comm 200’s Hanya Bruner reports.

During the class, Gordemer pulled an industrial sized sewing needle and thread through a blown up latex balloon without popping it.

This wasn't his first time performing the trick either.

Said Gordemer of his previous experience:

Although he admitted he’s messed it up before, he insists the mechanics of the trick are quite simple.

Gordemer explained:

Not all were convinced that it was so easy. Tori Tropiano, one of the students in the class still doesn't quite understand how he pulled it off.

Unfortunately not everyday of class will be all fun and games. Professor Gordemer's students still have a final exam.

For comm 200, I'm Hanya Bruner.
