AU Professor Shows off his mad magic skills

An American University professor once again puts the magic back into teaching.  Barry Gordemer who was once known as The Sort of Amazing Barry performed another amazing magic trick for his students.

Comm 200's Matt Morrissey reports.

The only objects Barry needed to use to confuse his students was a balloon and a needle.  He then showed that he still had the magic from his days as a stage magician and stuck a needle through a balloon without it popping.  However, students were not as impressed with this trick as with Barry's mind reading one.  Everyone knew what the trick was going to be such as Shavawn White.

Every student had their own theory on how the trick was performed.  One interesting theory was put forth by Bose Mpuchane.
Barry has been a magician for a long time.  He said that the reason he got into magic was because "it was just cool."  The first trick Barry ever learnt was how to make a pencil levitate.  However, this was a simple trick, Barry tells us what he considers the first real trick he learnt.

It is unknown if or when the Sort of Amazing Barry will appear again but for now, this is Matt Morrisey, Comm 200 News.
