POP! Goes the Magic Trick

The Sort-of-Amazing Barry is up to his old tricks again.

But instead of controlling minds he’s controlling balloons.

On Monday, the Sort-of-Amazing Barry Gordemer performed one of his mind-blowing tricks for his communication class.

However, his students were less than impressed this time around.

Comm 200’s Shavawn White reports.

Before performing his trick Gordemer gives his students this statement to think about.

To illustrate these expectations he has his student Chloe Dechellis blow up a balloon.

Gordemer then pulls out a long, sharp sowing needle and explains that he was going to push it inside of the balloon without popping it.

As he is about to do the trick, Gordemer begins stalling.

Student, Nikki Gale, believed  the trick was going to fail.

However, the needle goes through the balloon without popping.

After taking the needle out of the balloon, Gordemer throws the balloon in the air.

The balloon falls on top of the needle, making a loud pop as it bursts.

After it was over, most of the students weren't amazed with Gordemer's trick.

Matt Morrissey says:

In the end, expectations weren't as inflated as Gordemer thought they would be.
