The press release of the iPhone 6 was obviously designed to sell iPhones. The title is “Apple Announces iPhone 6 & 6 Plus—The biggest advancements in iPhone History”. It describes the new iPhone as having “Dramatically Thin Design Features Stunning Retina HD Displays, Powerful A8 Chip, Advanced Cameras & Apple Pay.” The entire release is written this way, using very sensationalized language to make the phone sound as positive as possible. It does not ever discuss possible downsides to the phone.

The review of the iPhone 6 is more in depth, going into detail about the design, display, performance, and pricing. It is mostly positive, but focuses on downsides as well, such as the relatively short battery life, or how it feels very fragile. The main target of this review seems to be people who are already planning on buying an iPhone, and focuses a lot on which version to buy: the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 6 Plus. However, it does have a section addressed to “hard-core Android fans,” along with the different kind of Apple fans. Overall, this is a more informative breakdown of the product than the press release.
